Coastal Dealerships began when two friends decided to leverage their combined 30 years in the automobile industry and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction to create their own business.
They opened the doors to their first dealership in Cohasset on Route 3A in 2001. By 2005 the business had outgrown that location so they built a state-of-the-art facility at Exit 34 off Route 3 in Norwell.
Just five years later, Coastal was ready to expand again — this time adding the Volkswagen franchise to the family. Located on Route 53 at the intersection with Route 3, our VW facility has already been expanded twice! We are proud to deliver the same comfortable and professional experience our customers have come to expect at this location.
The newest Coastal offering — Coastal Collision — was opened in 2021 . This facility is adjacent to Coastal Nissan and performs every service and repair needed to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition and value. Our process is second-to-none, including coordination with insurance and regular updates on the status of the vehicle.
Coastal Dealerships still operates on the same principle that has led to so many repeat customers — better prices and better service.
It is that simple. The Cohasset location is now Coastal Auto Center, the South Shore's premiere destination for purchasing pre-owned vehicles and providing service for all makes and models. Our original franchise is located in Norwell.
