NVNA and Hospice
MISSION STATEMENT:

NVNA and Hospice delivers high quality patient care, in the comforting environment of home. We are neighbors helping neighbors promoting wellness and public health services in our community. Our charitable mission is to provide quality home health care, wellness, and public health services in our community. This October we raised and donated $2,500 to the NVNA and Hospice during our Drive For a Cause Event.

Wellspring is a private, 501(c)3, multi-service organization located on Boston's South Shore in Hull, Massachusetts. Wellspring programs reach beyond providing emergency services to help people to become more independent and productive members of the community. Wellspring acts as a catalyst, bringing community resources together to best solve problems and to offer opportunities for community participation through volunteering.

The CEF raises funds throughout the year through contributions from residents, businesses and corporate and private enterprises who recognize that excellence in public education is essential to the social and economic fabric of our community. Entirely independent of the school system, the CEF maintains a close partnership with the school administration and evaluates for funding those needs submitted for consideration by teachers and administrations. The CEF is not intended to supplant or replace the public funding of our schools.

THE HINGHAM EDUCATION FOUNDATION:

is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to enriching the quality of public education in Hingham. Since its incorporation in 1992, the HEF has awarded grants to enhance educational quality throughout the system. These grants provided funding for innovative classroom projects, development of teaching strategies, special programs, new books and materials, improving technology and more.

Funds for the HEF's programs are generated through community contributions, and all monies raised are used to extend public funding for the schools. COHASSET ROTARY CLUB'S ROAD RACE BY THE SEA:

Cohasset Rotary Club's Road Race by the Sea has been raising money for local and international charities for more than 40 years. Net proceeds of the race go to everything from local scholarships to Polio eradication efforts to clean water projects around the world.

Provides year-round sports training, athletic competition and other health-related programming for athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state. Through successful experiences in sports, Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes gain confidence and build positive self-images, which they take with them into their homes, classrooms, jobs, and communities.

Established in 1990 by concerned parents when widespread budget cuts threatened the quality of education. SHORE (Scituate High Opportunities and Resources for Education) provides financial support for the three "A's" (academics, arts, athletics), at Scituate High School.

Being a Bulldog means being a positive role model in the community. Bulldogs understand that they are role models to kids and parents alike. Bulldogs also know that there are others in the world who are less fortunate, and when they are called upon, Bulldog Players work as a family to make a difference in the world!!! Being a Bulldog means you give 110% both on and off the field in everything you do. Bulldogs work hard to keep up their grades in school and when they struggle, they work even harder to improve. Bulldogs are good brothers to their siblings good children to their parents, and good teammates to their fellow Bulldogs. Bulldogs work hard during practices and in games, and win or lose, a Bulldog fights until the very end!!

TLC also serves over 1,000 patients annually in a full-service outpatient audiology clinic. Through all its programs, The Learning Center serves children and adults from 86 towns in Massachusetts and 12 other states. TLC is the largest provider of educational services for deaf preschool and school aged children in New England and is the center of Deaf Community activities for the greater Massachusetts Deaf and hard of hearing community.

FRIENDSHIP HOME
FRIENDSHIP HOME:

Friendship Home's mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by providing quality respite care and support services in a safe and caring environment. Since our inception, Friendship Home has been working to build the Home with a Heart, a retreat-style center located on grounds donated by the United Church of Christ that offers day and evening educational, vocational and social programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as short-term overnight retreats, ranging from one night to two weeks. After ten years of working toward this goal, Friendship Home opened the doors to the lower level program and activity area of our Home in July 2010. We opened our respite and retreat center in January, 2012.
